No,
It is an electronically controlled toilet that macerates waste
as it is being discharged from
the toilet by a high performance integral centrifugal pump.
The fresh water flush models have been engineered to eliminate
the problems associated
with multiple component systems.
The Atlantes are quiet, low water consuming
toilets with features not found with any other marine toilet
available.
My
A5 Series Atlantes has water still coming into the bowl for
a few seconds after the discharge pump has shut off. Too much
water remains in the bowl. What can I do?
Jumper
J1 on the Atlantes control board must be moved to position
B. This will cause both pumps to stop at the same time.
Raritan
toilets are not by themselves designed to hold water unless
a vented loop is installed in the discharge line with the top
of the loop generally 4 inches higher than the top of the bowl. The higher the loop the more water will remain after each flush. See the specific toilets installation manual for specifications
and loop height limitations.
Note: Vented loops may need to be installed higher for safety reasons (see
installation manual for further details)
